Step1
Make sure that your Explorer is set to view hidden files and folders. Then locate the Programs Files/ Aim folder. Search for a folder, called Sysfiles,inside is a swirling vortex icon, Viewpoint, delete it.
If you have AOL installed on your computer, locate the program folder. Find a folder called 'jiti', when you locate it once again delete the Viewpoint icon. The above will prevent the program from reinstalling itself every time AIM or AOL is run.
Now to delete the actual program, Open your control panel and then run the Add/Remove programs. Delete the Viewpoint media player and viewpoint toolbar if applicable.
Once again locate the folder labeled Program Files, and open it. Locate the Viewpoint folder, right click it and delete it.
Run a search in your entire computer for Viewpoint. You can find the Search icon in the Start menu. This will help to find any other traces of Viewpoint as well as related cookies.
